"You have a wonderful collection of aircraft and I applaud you for your efforts to restore and FLY those that come into your care; WELL DONE! I hope to make it to the Cleveland National Air Show later this year and see you then. But If scheduling gets in the way, I hope that an opportunity to do so if/when you visit Tennessee or Alabama. Congrats. on the A-4. A little history on the Scooter you may know or not know. The Redtails of VC-8 (Rosey roads p.r.)were the last to fly them on a regular basis. In may of 2003 the TA-4Js of VC-8 were retired fron active duty. Information from the VC_8 web site (former member of VC-8)

"Hi Paul, Herwig and Dave,The new facilities sure look great! The A-4 will be a nice addition. I was the "Skipper" of an A4B/L squadron for a two year tour. You are fortunate that survival gear is not required in your airplanes. In cold weather gear, I used to be exhausted after just strapping in an A-4 cockpit! I will see you at OSH this year. I am working on a shrouded propeller LSA project. Our wind tunnel tests show that we are really on the right track as far as low fuel consumption and noise levels are concerned. I miss flying the Buckeye but I had more than my share of exciting single seat jet flying in my day, so I will reluctantly leave it to you younger guys. Be careful! They are all fun but can bite you in a nanosec if you goof off. (I know, you have heard this a M times) Your OLD friend, Ed Yes, I am still flying,... mostly a 36 Bonanza. See Ya!"

"Dear Paul & Staff, Thanks for all of your hard work and devotion to keeping these wonderful symbols of Freedom alive and loud. Even more important to the fun of flying these aircraft while no enemy has you in sight is the honor you bring to the veterans by keeping the public aware of our pilot Legends their's and their families bravery and sacrifices made for not just our USA freedoms but for other people's Freedoms around the Globe. Dan Schiffer 20080608"

"Thank you so much for the great tour you gave for the members of the Stick & Rudder Flying Club on June 5, 2008. We all loved it and enjoyed seeing many of the gorgeous planes we see flying out of "our" airport (UGN) "up close". In addition to being fascinating from a pure aviation perspective, it was interesting to learn so much of the history. You have done a wonderful job with these magnificent machines! Susan Hillman, Secretary Stick & Rudder Board of Directors"

We purchased a ride for my father-in-law as a Christmas gift. He flew in the same type of plane he flew in the service. We made it a family event and managed to take a lot of pictures watching him recreate his youth. The whole event was perfect and Herwig our pilot was very accommodating. My father-in-law was touched by the gift. My thanks go to the folks at Warbird Heritage Foundation for the outstanding hospitality.
