"I am a Korean War Veteran. November 1952 through July 1953. Stationed at Suwaon AFB (K-13) 51st Fighter_Intercepton Wing on one side of the field. *th Fighter-Bomber Wind on the other. I was assistant Base Supply Officer of the 8th FBW#. Your F-86F is Painted with the 51st FIS checker board tail and fuselage strip. The yellow stipes on the wing can be considered artistic licens in that you own the airplane, you can paint it however you like, but in the interests of accuracy those wing stripes did not exist on the 51st F-86's. At least not prior to the cease fire in 1954.I took 35 mm Kodachrom slides. in 1953. I was with the 8th so I only have a coule of the F-86. One leaving on mission and one coming back with wing tips ropped and dirty gun ports. By the way. the K-13 runway was 9000 feet and 500 feet of overrun. If you are interested in copyies of the pictures I would be glad to send them to you. I was 80 years old on August 21."

"Hello, Thanks for the exceptional visit - I never imagined that I would be able to actually get so close to the planes. Thanks to Sean for the vast knowledge he shared in a very friendly way. Next time I'll try and schedule a flight. Cheers, Fabrice"

"Thank you so much for allowing me to fly the T-2 Buckeye lst month. It sure brought back memories, having flown that airplane for over 1000 hours while in the Navy. And to finish the flight with a break over the runway was the ultimate. Thanks, Dean May"
