"To Whom It May concern: CONGRATULATIONS! I recently learned about your organization's acquisition of the the P-51D "Moonbeam McSwine" to honor the memory of my good friend Vlado Lenoch. Several years ago, I gave to your organization a complete history of the P-51D "Baby Duck". I, also contributed a number of photographs of this ill fate Mustang taken throughout its history. Once, again, I'd like to offer your organization a complete history and photographs of the P-51D 44-73656 taken directly from my copyrighted unpublished manuscript that is entitled, "Last of the Wild Horses". Please contact me at my E-mail address if your are interested. May I wish your organization the best of luck! Sincerely, John L. Dienst"

Herwig was kind enough to show me around the facility during an impromptu visit. Very impressive collection. Very kind reception too!

"Herwig was very kind to welcome me to the WHF facility and explore the magnificent collection of aircraft. I'm very impressed by what I saw and hope to see you guys in action at an event soon (the Waukegan 2018 airshow perhaps?) Cheers, Gerben"

I am very impressed by the in depth information available on your website with respect to aircraft the Foundation owns. I was doing some research on A-4 Skyhawks (the Royal Australian Navy flew them)and came upon your website which totally distracted me for an hour or so - my congratulations for a very professional and complete offering. "Paul, I just wanted to let you know what an honor it was to have you and the F-86F at the Seymour Johnson Wings Over Wayne 2017 air show this weekend. I took a few minutes to go thru the WHF website, and it is easy to see how you can become addicted to old warbirds. Here is hoping that you can make a return appearance. Also, keep in mind the 94th Fighter Squadron 100th reunion in August... Sure would love to see that Neuport XXVIII. Godspeed, Good Friend, DB SJ T/A"

I would like to know if you will be bringing up any aircraft to the Warbird event at KUGN on the 27th? And also wondering I can arrange a ride in the T2 Buckeye sometime soon. Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years since I went up in the L39 with you. Thanks JIM WETZEL

Cub Scout Pack 583 from Pleasant Prairie would like to say thank you to Shawn for spending some time with us on April 10th at the foundation! I'm sure the tour will inspire some boys to explore aviation in the years ahead! My son's favorite warbird was the P-51 Mustang. Fly safely folks!
