"The members of Walco Composite Squadron, Wisconsin Wing, Civil Air Patrol would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for an outstanding Saturday afternoon at the Warbird Heritage Foundation hanger. Our cadets have a keen interest in aviation, and many take advantage of the CAP’s flight academies to solo gliders and Cessna 172s. Most plan careers in aviation, including military aviation, and the opportunity to experience such an exciting tour could not have been more motivating. For those whose future plans do not include aviation, this once-in-a-lifetime experience will surely be remembered in a very positive light. The CAP's Cadet Program emphasizes academic excellence, leadership, and aerospace education, and at Walco, we feel strongly that providing opportunities, guidance and motivation for our cadets is a worthy goal. One of the opportunities we traditionally provide to our cadets is the chance to meet aerospace enthusiasts who can speak to the idea that, with ambition and focus, "you can be a ____." Walco's leaders appreciated that, when Mr. Schmidts spoke with the Cadets about the aviation industry, he emphasized the importance of both focus and ambition."

"Sean, Mike, Chris (Paul and Herwig), Thank you guys so much for taking time out of your busy day to give my buddy Dave and I an excellent tour of your aircraft and hangar over the holidays. Your collection is fabulous; and I especially enjoyed seeing your restored A-4 Skyhawk...it's a beauty and really brought back memories for me of working on them during my Navy days back in the mid-70s. I was impressed with how knowledgeable you guys were on so many aspects of these historic birds, and appreciate all the answers you provided for the many questions we bombarded you with. Again, many thanks for the opportunity to visit with you and see your beautiful collection of historic aircraft. We're already thinking about a summer visit to one of your flying events, so that'll really be something to look forward to! Best wishes for your continued success with the museum. --Tom Hayden"

"Dear WBH Foundation, As an old pilot belonging to the T-6G/P-47/T-33/F-86/F-104/F-16 generation, I do want to record my deep admiration of the WBH Foundation's labor of love. Your endeavor is both precious and laudable. I am always moved by and greatly enjoy your video clips and your sharp and well-taken pictures of military planes (only some of which I have flown over 35 years) that bring back cascades of memories. Many thanks and God Bless. Gen Hektor"
