I have been fascinated with airplanes and stories of the pilots and crews for as long as I can remember. I started taking pictures while I was in the Marine Corps in the early 1980's. I was a bulk fuel man and had the opportunity to refuel aircraft as well as to get rides on a lot of the helicopters in service at the time.

My first experience of being able to take pictures at an airshow occurred when I was in the Alabama Air National Guard. At the time I was an Avionics Technician on F-4 Phantoms when the Guard unit I was in had an open house. I did not realize that there were so many restored and flyable World War II aircraft and vehicles still around, and this started my interest in Airshows.

Once I found out what was available to go see, I was hooked. With my interest in Military history and love for airplanes, I thoroughly enjoy going to a good airshow. I like to shoot video as well as still photographs.

I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of good people including many veterans, and performers. Over the years I have been fortunate to meet and be helped out by many of the Airshow personnel, pilots, and several exceptionally talented photographers. I do not mind passing that information on, so if you see me and have a question I can help with, please ASK.
