Wesley "SLICK" Perkins

Wesley

SLICK, as he is known, is an Aerospace Engineering student at Texas A&M University. He is also a member of the Corps of Cadets and a Midshipmen in the Navy ROTC, where he is working toward a commission as a Naval Officer. He is a member of EAA and IAC. He flies a Pitts S-1C (soon to be an S-1SS with Raven Wings) in which he competes in local aerobatic competitions in the Texas area.

While that would be enough to keep most of us busy, it turns out that he is also an exceptionally talented videographer.

Over the past several years, SLICK has produced an amazing number of aviation videos. More than a few of which are featured on this web site.

To see more of his work, you can visit (and subscribe to) his YouTube Channel. If you want to follow some of his activities or contact him, you can also visit his blog.

We would like to thank SLICK for sharing his work with us, and we look forward to more of his videos in the future.

VIDEOS

10 Minutes of Airventure 2010: Part 7

In part 7 you are taken through some of the morning and early afternoon scenes around the grounds as well as a bit of arrivals on Wednesday. Then the video showcases the Wednesday airshow viewed from the EAA Radio building, which begins with the Vietnam warbirds demonstration.

10 Minutes of Airventure 2010: Part 8

Part 8 continues with the rest of the Wednesday afternoon airshow. This airshow was probably my favorite of the week. It was a beautiful day, the Vietnam reenactment was awesome, and the performers were equally as great!
